AI Enablement Governance Tooling Engineering

Enabling AI.
Governing the risk.
Building the tools.

I work at the intersection of AI engineering, governance, and enablement — helping organizations adopt AI that's production-ready, compliant, and built to last. Engaged in the AI space since 2018.

About

Where engineering meets governance.

Most people either build AI systems or govern them. I do both. My background spans full-stack AI platform engineering, law, and compliance infrastructure — which means I can ship production tooling and design the policy layer on top of it.

At SOCi I architected a company-wide AI platform from zero and led ISO 42001 certification — building the governance framework that made them among the earliest SaaS companies to achieve the standard.

I've been engaged in the AI space since 2018. I'm fluent in the language of engineering teams and legal teams, which means I build things both sides can actually use.

AI Enablement · AI Governance
  • Architected and shipped a full-stack AI platform from zero — production-grade, deployed company-wide, built entirely with Next.js, Claude, Claude Code, and GitHub.
  • Engineered platform modules including an AI agent approval system, vendor security review tool powered by Claude, a compliance co-pilot for security questionnaires, and an internal agent registry with risk-tier classification.
  • Led ISO 42001 (AI Management System) certification — designed the governance framework, scoped the program, and drove cross-functional alignment across Legal, Engineering, and Product.
  • Designed and enforced AI governance controls across the organization — authored policy, defined risk tiers, built agent intake workflows, and established guardrails for GitHub Copilot and AI coding tools.
  • Built and launched a company-wide AI training program: interactive web-based course with assessment, certification tracking, and multi-track live curriculum from AI fundamentals to Claude Code.

Unbounce / Insightly / LeadsRx
Data Privacy & Compliance Specialist · DPO
  • Acted as DPO across three SaaS brands — governed AI feature rollouts by conducting DPIAs, reviewing AI vendor security postures, and enforcing compliance controls on ML-powered product capabilities.
  • Operationalized SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR compliance using Drata and Vanta — automating evidence collection, vendor risk workflows, and audit readiness across engineering and product teams.
  • Built and maintained privacy infrastructure across Unbounce, Insightly, and LeadsRx including data mapping, breach response protocols, and cross-border transfer mechanisms.

Beyond the work

The things I care about
off the clock.

I take my coffee seriously. Not in a pretentious way — more in the way that a well-pulled shot at 7am is a non-negotiable. I'm a double espresso or an americano person. Oat flat white if the afternoon calls for it.

I've had coffee in Vancouver, NYC, Delhi, Bangalore, and a tiny café in Goa that I still think about. Equator Coffee in SF, though — that one stole my heart.

The usual order
Double Espresso
Two shots, no water, no milk. The original and the best.
Americano
Hot or iced depending on whether I have a 9am meeting.
Oat Flat White
When the afternoon needs something a little softer.

Law + tech. An unusual combination that turns out to be exactly right.
